Position Summary:

The Regional Analyst is responsible for performing and overseeing a wide range of administrative, operational, and accounting/financial activities. This role will support and development of yearly operating budget and monitoring of actual expenditures and accruals versus budget and actuals versus forecast monthly at the regional level. Will assist regional Sr. Directors and Operations Managers and field coordinators with the development of monthly financial reporting providing updates and variance explanations will work with regional management, field employees, and support groups to assist them with budgeting/forecasting and financial resource needs.

Position Accountabilities:

• Manage the development of the annual operating budget for the PL region including overhead departments.

• Assists in budget vs. actual, planning vs. actual reporting, controllable operating expense forecasting for the region to assure accuracy and deadlines are met.

• Assists in training and development of staff in SAP and TM1.

• Manages the process of providing updates on actual expenditures and develop accruals as necessary per company accounting guidelines by working with all Asset Managers, Accounting Supervisors, and Operations Analysts.

• Assist with reimbursement cost efforts (UJI operations, company work crews, reimbursable terminal operations, reimbursable tank cleanings, etc.) to assure no lost revenue opportunities.

• Manages the process of making updates to forecasted expenditures in TM1 forecasting tool.

• Track forecast changes.

• Compiles and reviews weekly, bi-monthly, & monthly department/regional reports.

• Assist regional Sr. Director and management team to create AFEs or Capital Request Forms and assuring the correct cost centers and reclassification tasks are properly completed.

• Serves as point of contact between all Asset Managers and Corporate Accounting for all financial issues regarding all Region cost centers.

• Acts as liaison between the region and corporate groups like human resources (open headcount, backfills, overtime reports) and accounting (UJI billing confirmation, reimbursable confirmation).

• Coordinates processes with field coordinators and assist with their task training and guidance.

• Attend daily and weekly regional operational meetings to keep current and knowledgeable about the business.

• Backup or assist with venue and planning for regional gatherings for large groups.

• Available and open for special assignments as directed by the supervisor.
