SHIFT SCHEDULE FOR THIS POSITION IS: MONDAY - THURSDAY 2:30PM - 1:00AM SUMMARY: Under minimal supervision, the Hangar Operations Support Lead will lead the day-to-day shift functions of the support team. This position is responsible for assigning work to utilize the team efficiently in supporting the work of the aircraft mechanics. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Leads Hangar Operations Support Technicians in daily activities to support the work of aircraft mechanics. Assigns employee work to effectively support customer needs. Coordinates maintenance assistance duties to maximize efficiency in aircraft work. May assist with accessing aircraft cleaning, applying corrosion inhibitors, installing blankets, floorboards, and panels.[JJ1] Responsible for maintaining organization and cleanliness of hangar floor, including tools, supplies, equipment, and removal of debris. Trains team members on daily duties and operation of powered equipment. Performs other duties as assigned. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High School diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred. Minimum of one (1) year experience in aviation or manufacturing environment required. Lead experience preferred. Experience working with Lean principles and participation on Lean events preferred. PHYSICAL EFFORT AND DEXTERITY: While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to sit; use their hands and arms; and talk or hear; and focus on objects close up. The employee will also be required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee may be required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds using proper lifting protocols. Compensation The full base pay range for this position is $20-$28 hourly, exclusive of benefits or potential bonuses. The lower end of the range represents the target base pay for those beginning or developing in the role. The higher end of the range is intended for those who have mastered the role, with proven significant expertise, high achievement, and specialized skills. If you are hired at ATS, your hourly rate will be based on factors including skills, education, and experience. In addition to those factors – we consider internal equity of our current employees when determining offers. This position is eligible for an annual bonus.
