Technical Support Supervisor leads a team that provides technical customer support for an organization's products and services. Acts as first level escalation point for more complex or critical customer issues and inquiries. Being a Technical Support Supervisor possesses broad knowledge of the organization's products and services, and extensive experience handling customer inquiries. Mentors and coaches team on troubleshooting, solution development, and customer communication best practices. Additionally, Technical Support Supervisor monitors work queues to ensure adequate coverage and to meet service level standards. May require a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Technical Support Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be a Technical Support Supervisor typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Description:- Material Control Supervisor is responsible for Warehouse Operations and Maintenance functions at the Warehouse facility.
- Building Safety, UAW Relationships, IB / OB processing, Inventory Accuracy, Absenteeism, Vacation Scheduling, ISO 14001 Environmental and daily hourly payroll processing.
- LPMH.
- Excellent organizational skills and continuous improvement mindset
- Able to hold people accountable to meet established goals.
- Manage & Direct UAW Hourly Employees for all warehousing operations
- Effectively assign initiatives to continuously improve performance
- Assign daily work to employees to meet objectives in safety, quality and lines per man hour
- Assure continuous improvement through direction of the PICS process and the Continuous Improvement Process (CIP)
- Work closely with other salary employees and UAW to deliver successful results
- Carry out Company practice/policy in the areas of work standards, discipline, training, and personnel administration.
- Maintain a positive working relationship with UAW employees and Leadership, including fair and equal administration of the contract
- Facilitate crew meetings.
- Maintain employee/work related records as required.
- Utilize daily manpower forms to ensure proper utilization of personnel. (including any overtime and vacation)
- Lead CIP, Safety, Ergo teams.
- Actively participate in all Continuous Improvement Process Teams
Skills Required:- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to demand accountability from all employees.
Skills Preferred:- Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word skills preferred
Experience Required:- Basic understanding of warehouse operations
Experience Preferred:- SAP Knowledge preferred
- 1 years Supervisory experience preferred/In a Union environment
Education Required:- High School Diploma or GED
Education Preferred:- College Degree preferred
