Technical Trainer creates and conducts technical training programs. Determines training objectives. Being a Technical Trainer writes training programs, including outline, text, handouts, and tests, and designs laboratory exercises. Lectures on the safety, installation, programming, maintenance, and repair of software, machinery, and equipment. Additionally, Technical Trainer administers written and practical exams and writes performance reports to evaluate trainees' performance. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Technical Trainer occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Job Duties & Responsibilities
· Audit Processes to ensure that all new systems/procedures are being followed.
o Audits will focus on all machine centers that are assigned.
o Audits at machine centers will be conducted at random and whenever an opportunity is presented.
o Report submitted weekly, containing findings/opportunities for improvement.
· Perform studies on all assigned machine centers relative to the target issues.
o Compile weekly report of findings.
· Receiving, labeling, and safely storing samples to be tested
o Performing tests needed for analysis of incoming chemicals and products.
o Recording results and reporting them
o Discuss and answer any questions regarding results or methods used.
o Organizing and storing samples in accordance with safety requirements
o Cleaning and maintaining lab equipment.
Qualifications
· High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
· 6 months related manufacturing experience or training
· Or equivalent combination of education and experience
· Ability to understand work instructions, job descriptions, SOT’s, 5’s scores, Kaizen, Safety Rules and escalation paths.
Salary information: per hour (Salary is dependent on experience) $25.00- $29.00 per hour.
