Technical Trainer creates and conducts technical training programs. Determines training objectives. Being a Technical Trainer writes training programs, including outline, text, handouts, and tests, and designs laboratory exercises. Lectures on the safety, installation, programming, maintenance, and repair of software, machinery, and equipment. Additionally, Technical Trainer administers written and practical exams and writes performance reports to evaluate trainees' performance. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Technical Trainer occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.     Job Description:

    Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Technical Trainer to join their team based in Mobile, AL.

    The Technical Trainer position is responsible for managing learning and performance of the employees in the learning environment as well as projects regarding Shop Floor Optimization.

    Currently, there are 3 skill sets needed:

    • Electrical Instructor

    • Structures Assembly Instructor

    • Mechanical/Systems Installer Instructor

    Nearby on 'Airbus Way' you will find the Airbus U.S. Manufacturing Facility for commercial aircraft.     * Drive and monitor the overall learning process including policies.

    Your boarding pass:

    * Associate Diploma or Bachelor's Degree is desirable

    • 5 years of experience in an aviation manufacturing or assembly environment, specifically related to curriculum being taught.

    • Experience in training, facilitation or in leading and directing groups of 10 people.

    • Ability to moderate technical decisions based on solution analysis and risk evaluation

    • Strong communication skills

    • Knowledge in Google Workspace

    • Knowledge of SAP preferred

    • Required: Knowledge of basic production and quality rules in aviation
