Technical Trainer, Sr. creates and conducts technical training programs. Determines training objectives. Being a Technical Trainer, Sr. writes training programs, including outline, text, handouts, and tests, and designs laboratory exercises. Lectures on the safety, installation, programming, maintenance, and repair of software, machinery, and equipment. Additionally, Technical Trainer, Sr. administers written and practical exams and writes performance reports to evaluate trainees' performance. Requires a bachelor's degree. The Technical Trainer is responsible for creating and presenting the appropriate training material for the various technical aspects of the manufacturing, assembly, and installation of Maintainer’s products. This position is also responsible for creating and maintaining the associate-level tracking and reporting of the progress of all applicable training. This would include all applicable audits needed to confirm comprehensive understanding of the critical aspects. This position works closely with related internal functions (e.g., Quality Assurance, Customer Service, Production, etc.) throughout the identification, development, and delivery of technical training programs.

Education, Reasoning ability, and or Experience
Communication and Language skills
Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondences, and memos. Ability to create presentations and videos that support the needs of the training curriculum. Ability to effectively present information in group situations. Strong attention to detail is required.
Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Required to sit for long periods of time. Required to use hands and fingers to grasp and hold objects, likewise reach with arms and hands.
Possesses strong computer and keyboarding skills. Familiar with all Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Qualified candidates should also be familiar with video recording and editing related media for the purposes of developing training materials.
Qualified candidates must possess strong people relations skills. Displays a positive attitude and friendly personality towards internal and external customers. Must possess strong verbal communication skills and the ability to handle difficult conversations in a calm and professional manner at all times.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position will not include any direct supervisory responsibilities.
