ON-THE-JOB COSMETOLOGY INSTRUCTOR TRAINING 1

Location: 693 W 1210 S St, Spanish Fork, UT 84660

Status: Part - Time / Non - Exempt

Hours: 10 - 20 hours / week

Pay / Salary: $16.00 / Hour

BENEFITS:

Part-time employees averaging 15 hours / week over 3 months of employment could be eligible for our MTECH tuition waiver.

ON-THE-JOB COSMETOLOGY INSTRUCTOR TRAINING 1 RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities of the On-The-Job Cosmetology Instructor Training 1 include, but are not limited to:

• Completing assignments from the Coordinator.
• Meeting with the Program Coordinator regularly and discussing improvements and progress.
• Learning how to develop program curriculum and lesson plans and how to teach engaging lessons, using hands on, skill-based competency training to the greatest extent possible.
• Completing 12 chapters in Milady's Instructor Training/learning motivation, preparation, teaching methods, classroom management.
• Have at least 400 hours of training and meeting with the Program Coordinator to have regular evaluation for on-the-job training.
• Maintaining accurate and current reports and records regarding student accountability, attendance, and performance.
• Attending all required department and faculty meetings as required.
• Performing other duties as assigned.
• Takes and passes the Utah Cosmetology Instructor License test

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

• A High School diploma or equivalent is required
• Graduation from an accredited Cosmetology School or apprenticeship
• Valid Utah State Cosmetology License
• Minimum 6 months of industry experience is required
