Schedule: Candidates must live within 4 hours of all three of the most frequently visited locations: Des Moines, Waterloo, and Moline. When not traveling, they will work remotely.
Job Description
These positions will deliver In-person and virtual trainings to Deere employees. They will be responsible for delivering pre-existing content virtually or in-person to develop and inspire the Deere leaders of tomorrow. Delivery audience will range from production employees to executive level.
These positions will need to manage multiple personality types, questions and the unexpected events that can occur during instruction and travel. These positions require excellent project management skills and an in-depth understanding of common business training techniques.
Responsibilities including but not limited to:
• Deliver engaging training that is inclusive, interactive and provides a quality learning experience for all in attendance. Ability to adjust delivery based on audience feedback and changing circumstances.
• Collaborate with others to improve and evolve the delivery of programs based on best practices and participant feedback.
• Maintain program data and tools to train staff and others.
• Liaise with departments to manage and assign training programs.
• Plan and coordinate proper venues, timing, and modality.
• Make recommendations to training agenda or curriculum, as necessary.
• Maintain attendance logs, incident reports, and other necessary records.
• Coordinate travel as needed for delivery sessions.
Travel Requirements:
30-40% - Frequently visited Des Moines, Waterloo, and Moline. They could be traveling to different locations up to 2-3 times a month. They would need to drive their own vehicle, but they will be reimbursed for mileage, gas, and other travel expenses.
Minimum Qualifications:
• 2-4 years of experience delivering training curriculum
• 2-4 years of experience using virtual training software such as Teams or Zoom
• Must have experience with planning and coordinating training and event schedules.
• Experience facilitating difficult conversations, reframing the question, and course correcting as needed.
