Technical Training Manager leads the design and delivery of technical training programs. Determines training objectives by conducting analysis of overall needs and specific skill or knowledge gaps. Being a Technical Training Manager manages the development of training programs and materials including outlines, text, handouts, hands on exercises, and training evaluations. Establishes processes to monitor results and collect feedback on training instructors to determine effectiveness and identify areas for improvement. Additionally, Technical Training Manager assesses and manages any contractors utilized to deliver specialized training. May manage IT, product, or equipment training depending on the industry and setting. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to an director. The Technical Training Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Technical Training Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. The Navy and Marine Corps Mission Assurance (MA) Program and FRCS Program requires highly specialized technical, analytical, and investigative support services to develop and conduct comprehensive assessments of an Installation and/or Facility critical infrastructure, utility infrastructure, and operational utility technology, which includes FRCS as it relates to the warfighter’s risk. These assessments create visibility for Commanders at all levels and provide the ability to understand where there are risks to a warfighter’s missions and the supporting mission-critical facility/infrastructure, utility system, and FRCS. What You'll Be Doing: Work with Program manager to assist in all matters relating to contract and task orders. Assist in maintaining a fully staffed and equipped work force. Assist in ensuring adequate internal controls and review procedures which shall eliminate conflicts, errors, and omissions, as well as ensuring the technical accuracy and timeliness of all work required under each task order. What Required Skills You'll Bring: BA Degree with 10 Years of experience in management 2 Years experience in management of team that conducts mission assurance inspections, and/or risk mitigation of military installations/missions. Must be able to travel up to 20% Must have a Valid US Passport Must have Top Secret Clearance What Desired Skills You'll Bring: Ability to manage team that conduct assessments in various military installations.
