Description of The Position: ASSETS is a Child Support System used by State and County staff to ASSETS)/Child Support Systems supervise and directly administer child support services to the public.
Provide a complete list of the day-to-day tasks to be performed by the Selected Candidate:- Create documentation for end users in the form of user manuals available through a page-specific help function and a variety of desk references and instructional materials. Create documentation for management and technical staff to use while developing new system functions or projects. Carry out electronic publishing of materials and updates to the Electronic Resource Library available to all OTDA and child support staff statewide.
- Compile reports and build and maintain templates for use within the ASSETS application. Tools required include but are not limited to MS Office, FrameMaker, Dreamweaver, the Adobe suite of Acrobat Pro etc. as well as some security scanning tools and Team Foundation Server for extracting release content for impact statements and announcements.
Mandatory Qualifications:- Experience Level: Expert
- 84 months of experience in technical writing.
- Demonstrated ability to provide guidance to large teams.
- Extensive industry experience, positioning the candidate at the top of their field.
Responsibilities:- Translate technical information into clear, readable documents.
- Develop and maintain system documentation.
- Create user manuals, installation guides, and computer operations manuals.
- Produce program maintenance manuals.
List all the Position Requested Qualifications:- 84 months experience with electronic publishing tools such as FrameMaker, Dreamweaver, Acrobat Pro.
- 60 months of experience developing systems documentation - user manuals, installation guides, computer operations and program maintenance manuals, backup, recovery, and restart procedures, etc. for a systems development project in a complex human services (Federal, state or Local Government) delivery system.
- 36 months experience creating and managing Microsoft Word templates using Word's form fields and bookmarking features to pre-populate variable data and establish locked or over-writeable fields within the templates in direct conjunction with a Java Application.
- Bachelor's Degree
