Description

The Software Technical Writer will be responsible for creating comprehensive help documents, guides, and training materials that support our users in maximizing the benefits of our software products. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud-based software and the ability to convey complex information in a clear and user-friendly manner. The successful candidate will play a key role in enhancing our customer experience and supporting our marketing efforts through effective content creation.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, write, and maintain user manuals, installation guides, help documents, and FAQs for our cloud-based software products.
• Work closely with the product development and support teams to understand product features, updates, and technical details.
• Design and build training websites and materials to assist in user education and product adoption.
• Contribute to marketing efforts by writing insightful articles related to our industry, products, and services.
• Ensure all technical documentation is accurate, comprehensive, and up to date. Manage documentation projects, including planning, scheduling, and adhering to deadlines and quality standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify documentation needs and improve content delivery.

Qualifications

• More than 3 years of experience writing software product help documents. Solid understanding of cloud-based subscription model software products. Excellent communication skills, with a proficiency in English and the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure related to timelines and quality expectations.
• Experience in building training sites and writing marketing-related articles is highly desirable.
• Prior experience in the e-commerce, logistics, supply chain, or transportation sectors is a plus.
• Full-time commitment is required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing, English, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven track record of producing high-quality technical documentation for software products.
• Familiarity with documentation tools and software, be able to use HTML and CSS.
• Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures.
