We help auctioneers sell everything from medieval swords to combine harvesters, paintings, and decorative art through to classic cars, furniture, and Caterpillar forklifts. We do this through 8 marketplaces that leverage our online auction technologies. About the opportunity: As a sales representative in our bidder operations department, you will play an integral role in shaping how ATG acquires, retains, and engages with our broad buyer base. You will introduce (and sometimes re-introduce) potential buyers to our marketplaces, and will be the face of our company to our top customers. You’ll work alongside a team that’s passionate about the value our company creates for buyers and sellers (and the planet) in the circular economy, and you’ll report to senior leadership that’s invested in your success. In addition to base salary, you’ll earn commission for every dollar you sell in an uncapped commission plan.

What your contributions will be:

• Meet daily activity metrics of 150 dials or 2.5 hours of talk time
• Cold call to both past and potential new customers, respond to inbound leads
• Become an expert in our company’s offering (no prior auction experience required)
• Relay our company’s value proposition to prospects in a succinct, confident, and compelling fashion
• Build rapport with prospects quickly to understand their “why” and get them to “yes”
• Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
• Continuously improve through feedback
