Research Analyst/Departmental Analyst

  • The Department of Insurance and Financial Services (DIFS) is seeking an individual to work in public service as a Research Analyst in the Office of Innovation and Research.     The right candidate will serve an important role analyzing and conducting research on issues, legislation, and economic/marketplace conditions that relate to the Department’s regulation of the insurance and financial services industries. As part of a highly productive team, this position is instrumental in ensuring that research and legislative drafting efforts are consistent with the Department’s mission, vision, and values.

    Work Location: This is an in-person position based in Lansing, Michigan, with the possibility for a hybrid work schedule where you would work from home up to two days per week, following a training period if approved.
