Technology Research Analyst jobs in Santa Maria, CA

We are looking for an energetic, positive individual to work as a Research Assistant in our Research & Development department at our company headquarters in San Luis Obispo. This is not a remote position. The Research Assistant will collect, manage, and analyze data, and report results for quality control analysis for multiple research projects across multiple locations. This is a regular full-time position. 

Responsibilities:

• Collect, manage, analyze, and report on data findings.
• Utilize company and industry quality control metrics.
• Assist in defining, tracking, and modeling key variables and metrics.
• Maintain records for the research and statistical library.
• Relay research findings to the Research & Development department leadership and selected company departments in the form of presentations and documentation.
• Interact positively and professionally with clients and staff to provide a safe and positive work environment.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent.
• 2 years relevant experience.
• Familiarity with categorical data modeling and basic SAS querying.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple, and at times competing, priorities.
• Strong record keeping and organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Must pass pre-employment screening and clearances.
• Must sign Lindamood-Bell’s Confidentiality Agreement. 

Compensation:

The hourly rate for this position is $22 - $24 per hour.
