Technology Research Manager leads research and evaluation of emerging trends in the information technology field to determine their worth to the organization. Designs and oversees staff education on the use of new technology. Being a Technology Research Manager recommends ways to apply new products and solutions that will maximize their value to the organization. Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Additionally, Technology Research Manager typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Technology Research Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. To be a Technology Research Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 to 3 years supervisory experience may be required. - Microsoft Word or Excel helpful as a tool to keep yourself organized, but not mandatory
Here's what you need to get started
- LapTop. You may be asked to use your webcam. These types of studies typically pay more. You'll need a stable internet connection. You may be asked to conduct a study using your SmartPhone.
- Data entry skills. All studies require that you be able to read, write and take direction as well as type a minimum of 25 words per minute.
- Backgrounds in Customer Service, Administrative Assisting, Sales and Sales Support helpful but not mandatory
Pay Info:
- Up to 250 hr. per single research study session
- up to $3,000 per multi-session research study
