Technology Specialist

Role Description: This entry-level position reports to the Senior Technology Specialist and Chief Operations Officer and assists with the daily operations of technology for the company. The Technology Specialist is responsible for assisting with information technology and computer systems, training for new technology platforms, and helping ensure compliance of technology platforms.

Roles and Responsibilities:

· Manage and track technology asset inventory for Concorde employees and Concorde representative offices.

· Order and onboard technology for new hires.

· Train new employees on technology platforms used at the firm.

· Assist with scheduling and management of onboarding and offboarding of employees’ equipment and accounts.

· Assist managed service provider with employee technical problems.

· Assist users with several technology platforms used by the company.

· Respond to cyber incidents by resetting passwords, coordinating actions with our managed service provider, and documenting breaches and phishing attempts.

· Create compliance cases for items such as cyber incidents, vendor due diligence requests, and asset inventory records.

· Record video presentations and write documentation for various technology subjects, such as trainings for good security practices and demonstrations of platforms.

· Archive emails, social media, and websites in conjunction with our compliance team.

· Work with our managed service provider to create Microsoft 365 security groups, distribution lists, and email inboxes.

· Help with the creation and maintenance of company proprietary forms.

· Assist the firm with other technology-related projects, as needed.

Qualifications:

· Must possess a service-oriented nature, excellent human relations skills and a solid work ethic with a positive attitude.

· Must be flexible and adaptable within a transformational firm.

· Must have strong attention to detail and be able to switch gears easily.

· Ability to prioritize tasks and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

· Ability to communicate well verbally and in writing, especially the ability to break down technical concepts into layman’s terms.

· Must be able to make decisions and recommendations to benefit the firm.

· Must have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot through technical problems.

· Experience with Microsoft Exchange Server, Microsoft 365 Products (Sharepoint, OneDrive, Teams, OneDrive, Excel, Word, Powerpoint).

· Some financial industry experience and/or experience with financial products/services is preferred, but not necessary.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $40,000.00 per year
