**Position Overview:**

We are seeking an experienced IT Compliance Specialist with a strong background in IT technical expertise and comprehensive knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance regulations. The ideal candidate will hold a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification and possess a blend of technical acumen and regulatory compliance experience. This role will be responsible for ensuring that our IT systems and processes align with SOX requirements while also providing technical support and expertise across various IT initiatives.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess, analyze, and implement IT controls and processes in accordance with SOX requirements.

- Conduct regular audits and assessments of IT systems, processes, and controls to identify gaps and areas for improvement.

- Develop and maintain documentation of IT policies, procedures, and controls to support compliance efforts.

- Serve as a subject matter expert on SOX compliance matters, providing guidance and support to internal stakeholders.

- Assist in the development and execution of IT risk assessments and mitigation strategies.

- Monitor changes in regulatory requirements and industry best practices to ensure ongoing compliance with SOX standards.

- Provide technical expertise and support for IT projects, including system implementations, upgrades, and migrations.

- Collaborate with internal and external auditors during SOX audits and reviews, addressing any findings or recommendations as needed.

**Qualifications:**

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

- Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification required.

- 5 years of experience in IT compliance, with a focus on SOX regulations.

- Strong understanding of IT systems, networks, and infrastructure, including experience with enterprise-level technologies.

- Proficiency in conducting IT risk assessments and developing risk mitigation strategies.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

- Detail-oriented mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Experience working in a regulated industry is preferred.
