Seeking an experienced Extraction Manager to supervise and manage routine laboratory operations, including physical labor (machinery and equipment) as well as digital work (software and reporting). The Extraction Manager will oversee the performance of laboratory and kitchen technicians, educate and train staff, maintain production documents, and operate compliantly.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee staff including scheduling employees, assigning daily tasks, and managing attendance, performance management, and ensuring accuracy and completeness of all job functions in the lab
• Provide training to personnel on proper lab methods, procedures, and techniques
• Review, track, and trend technical and employee performance.
• Is responsible for the facilities operations, including, processing protocols, strategy, and day-to-day production while supervising a team of laboratory technicians
• Interview, hire and train required extraction laboratory personnel in order to keep up with production requirements
• Use projections to forecast sales and minimum inventory requirements for new retail openings and promotions
• Coordinate routine inventory audits and maintain strict record keeping
• Consistently achieve quality end products with repeatability
• Create new and improved product formulations
• Ensuring regulatory compliance, including safety, environmental and document control requirements.
