May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Telecommunications Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Telecommunications Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. The core function of the Customer Service Trainee is to communicate with customers, review the new products and technology available in their area, obtain and process orders, and complete the sales cycle. They will also be responsible for managing new and existing client relationships and overseeing and negotiating all new customer contracts.     Core Responsibilities for our Customer Service Trainee:

    • Qualify and close customers on all Verizon 5G products and services for their home or business
    • Utilize negotiation skills taught at the entry level to overturn objections, handle all inquiries, and resolve issues as they arise
    • Provide excellent customer service in every interaction with customers regarding their products, sales delivery, and/or issues should they arise
    • Track and accurately report customer account information, territory research, and areas of improvement to upper-level management daily to assure the success of this product rollout
    • Work with other entry-level and senior Sales Specialists to ensure success in this 5G Home product rollout, with the delivery of unprecedented results

    Customer Service Trainee Requirements & Desired Experience:

    • Associate’s Degree or 4-year degree equivalent in the field of Sales, Business Administration, Management, Communication, or related field of study
    • 1-2 years of entry-level experience in the field of Sales, Customer Service, Business Development, Retail, Hospitality, or related
    • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to interact with a diverse clientele and Sales Specialist team members
    • A student mentality and ambition to learn entry-level skill sets and utilize them consistently over time
    • Must be a self-motivated, competitive, problem-solving individual
