Telecommunications Director is responsible for the strategic planning and design of an organization's telecommunications systems. Develops policies and procedures for installing and maintaining telecommunications equipment. Being a Telecommunications Director plans and manages complex installation or repair projects. Assesses current and future telecommunications needs and researches and plans improvements to meet those requirements. Additionally, Telecommunications Director trains and develops staff. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Telecommunications Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Telecommunications Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.   • Telecommunications is a crucial part of the confirmation process at Tough Turtle Turf, turning leads into appointments, as well as handling appointment scheduling, inbound calls, customer service, and other calls from our various markets. This is intended as a full-time hourly position, part-time availability would be considered.

    Job duties: (include but are not limited to the following)

    • Learn about our product lines, sales techniques, and internal processes
    • Respond to incoming calls and emails, conducting outbound calls
    • Transferring calls to the appropriate department
    • Adapt to changing processes and unexpected customer situations
    • Handle customer inquiries and de-escalate issues
    • Confirm daily appointments
    • Maintain punctual attendance
    • Communicate information clearly to customers and appropriate team members in a timely manner through various means (in person, phone, text, email, file notes, etc.)

    Qualifications:

    • Professional phone etiquette and ability to speak clear and understandable English in a normal tone of voice for office environment, bilingual fluency a plus
    • Previous telesales or customer service experience, prefer home improvement experience
    • Good documentation skills and at least30 WPM typing
    • Able to multitask in a fast paced environment
    • Bilingual Spanish Preferred
