Summary:
A Warehouse Assistant plays a critical role in ensuring that materials and products are received, stored, and shipped efficiently and accurately, and that inventory levels are maintained at optimal levels.
The Warehouse Assistant is responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations of a warehouse, including receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders, packing and shipping orders, and organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse. They may use forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to move inventory, and may also be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse. A warehouse assistant will also be responsible for conducting inventory counts, documenting inventory movements, and preparing reports for management. They must have strong attention to detail, be able to work in a team environment, and have good communication and organizational skills.

The duration of the Speedway program spans from 1-3 weeks, depending on the position. During Speedway the schedule will vary: 8-hour days are planned, but shorter days may occur depending on the group’s pace. Applicants further than 50 miles from these training locations will be provided with necessary travel accommodations as part of the onboarding process. Applicants 50 miles or less from these locations will be considered regular commute. For those working remotely, virtual attendance will depend on position requirements.
