Telecommunications Director jobs in Washington

Telecommunications Director is responsible for the strategic planning and design of an organization's telecommunications systems. Works with other members of the IS staff to ensure that telecommunications solutions meet company needs. Being a Telecommunications Director may use voice, data, video, or other systems as needed. May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Additionally, Telecommunications Director typically reports to a top management. The Telecommunications Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Telecommunications Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.
