Telecommunications Engineering Technician assists telecommunication engineers in the design and analysis of telecommunication networks. Creates plans and drawings detailing the layout of routers, circuits, cables, switches, or other telecommunications equipment. Being a Telecommunications Engineering Technician ensures network connectivity for end-users. May evaluate existing networks and recommend design changes to improve performance. Additionally, Telecommunications Engineering Technician requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Telecommunications Engineering Technician may require 0-1 year of general work experience. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job.     As an Engineering Construction Materials Field Technician, your exposure to a wide variety of responsibilities may include but not be limited to:

    • Work independently in the field and on construction sites performing quality control testing of concrete, soils, and other construction materials
    • Complete and submit daily reports related to observations and testing activities
    • Promptly communicate with site supervisors and project managers of issues or deviations from plans and specifications
    • Follow all corporate and job site safety procedures
    • Work directly on site with our clients
    • Attend job site meetings as needed
    • May occasionally perform lab testing in our offices

    Desired Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Construction-related training or technical training desirable
    • Certifications in Concrete and Soil preferred
    • Must possess a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and the ability to safely operate a motor vehicle
    • Must be available to work in all types of indoor and outdoor environments
