Operator Job DescriptionDuties:
- Operate and maintain various machines and equipment in a manufacturing environment
- Perform tasks such as welding, operating a press brake machine, and fabricating metal components
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate production
- Utilize CAD software to create and modify designs
- Set up and adjust tooling for different production runs
- Use SolidWorks or similar software for 3D modeling and design
- Measure and inspect parts using calipers and other precision measuring tools
- Program and operate CNC machines for cutting, drilling, and shaping materials
- Perform CAM programming to generate tool paths for CNC machinesQualifications:
- Previous experience as an operator or in a similar manufacturing role preferred
- Proficiency in welding, press brake machine operation, fabrication, blueprint reading, CAD software, tooling setup, SolidWorks or similar 3D modeling software, caliper measurement, CNC machine operation, and CAM programming
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Good problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues with machines or equipment
