Job Summary
Northwood Asphalt Terminal is located in Tulsa, OK. They are seeking a dedicated and skilled Terminal Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the safe and efficient operation of terminal facilities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and maintaining equipment functionality. This role requires a basic mechanical background and the ability to operate heavy equipment effectively.

Full Time Position: 6 am - 6 pm M-F; (approximately); Mandatory Overtime at 1.5X, Weekends worked as needed

Pay will range from $18-20 an hour based on experience. Bonuses and raises are given as seen fit.

Responsibilities

• Assist with loading and unloading trucks.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues as they arise, utilizing mechanical knowledge.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure safe loading and unloading of oil and gas products from railcars.
• Adhere to safety protocols while performing heavy lifting and operating machinery.
• Assist in the implementation of distributed control systems and general housekeeping for efficient terminal operations.
• Engage in continuous training to stay updated on industry best practices and technologies.

Qualifications & Duties:

• Hard worker who is willing to work outside.
• Positive attitude
• Physically fit and capable of climbing 40 foot tanks.
• Basic mechanical knowledge
• Ability to handle heavy lifting tasks safely and efficiently.
• Must be able to multi-task
• Critical thinking skills
• Outgoing and friendly
• Teachable
