ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Partner with department leaders regarding employee training needs and assess employees’ skills, performance, and productivity to identify areas of improvement.
Create a curriculum to facilitate strategic training based on plant goals and map out training plans for individual employees.
Drive brand values and philosophy through all training and development activities.
Select and manage resources, including working with both internal employees and training vendors to develop and deliver training.
Evaluate and make recommendations on training material and methodology, update curriculum as needed to ensure training meets business needs and improves performance.
Organize, develop, and source training programs to meet specific training needs.
Develop training aids such as manuals and handbooks.
Develop, implement and continually improve processes and procedures for effective and efficient team operations
Lead and motivate our operations team, mentoring and coaching team members to greater success.
Manage contracts, invoices, budget for the organization
Develop and track key performance indicators for all learner audiences.
Build on current reporting capabilities to drive a holistic view of the data.
Create, support, deliver and implement development, training and education needs for all levels of production workforce.
Partner with Corporate Learning & Development Team to maximize results.
Supervise a small group maximizing their performance to achieve team goals.
Improve retention rates through development, training, and education of all floor associates.
Improve retention rates through succession planning and education.
Ensure that Master of Craft becomes part of Fleetwood Rocky Mount’s culture through development, training, and education of program.
Ensure all Master of Craft administration is current and accurate.
Create systematic process of cross training for production workforce.
Administers New Hire Orientation to all new hires as needed.
Work closely with TSS to ensure attendance records are accurate.
Participate in CAT’s as needed.
Serves as a community liaison in marketing the company through high schools, higher education, and local labor departments.
Rolls out all development, training and education modules as needed/directed.
Supports and assists implementing all safety related activities.
Develops, supports, and partners regarding employee recognition and plant events/activities as needed.
Acts as liaison between employees and the Corporate Learning & Development Team.
Performs duties on floor 50 % of time.
Facilitate Employee Relations meetings, as needed.
Conducts audits as needed to ensure integrity of all data.
Assists with documentation of terminations, if needed.
Makes photocopies; mails, scans, and emails documents; and performs other clerical functions.
Partners with HR to file documents into appropriate employee files.
Assists or prepares correspondence as necessary.
Performs various other job duties as assigned and needed.
Maintain a good attendance record as it is critical for success.
Demonstrate a good work ethic based on principles of honesty and integrity.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
1 – 2 years previous experience in educational operations supervisory role
1 – 2 years prior experience in people management
Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams and projects
Team-oriented professional with superior presentation skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills; must be able to foster and maintain strong partnering relationships with sales and technical departments and be able to present recommendations based on data analysis – and execute on those recommendations
