Textbook Manager manages the textbook department of the campus bookstore. Purchases the necessary texts for university courses, makes pricing decisions, and keeps track of inventory and sales. Being a Textbook Manager develops textbook buy back programs and return policies. Supervises the preparation and return of overstock and defective books. Additionally, Textbook Manager may lead and direct the work of others. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a bookstore manager. The Textbook Manager supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be a Textbook Manager typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Marketplace and CDF (Customer Direct Fulfillment) Manager
The Marketplace and CDF Sales Manager creates and recommends strategies for marketplace selling and direct-to-consumer projects. Monitoring activities and reporting to departmental leadership. The position oversees marketplace performance metrics, resolves issues, reviews and approves payments working with our marketplace partners and MBS inventory, accounting, and customer service teams. This position reports to the MBS Wholesale Sourcing Services Manager.
