Textbook Manager manages the textbook department of the campus bookstore. Purchases the necessary texts for university courses, makes pricing decisions, and keeps track of inventory and sales. Being a Textbook Manager develops textbook buy back programs and return policies. Supervises the preparation and return of overstock and defective books. Additionally, Textbook Manager may lead and direct the work of others. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a bookstore manager. The Textbook Manager supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be a Textbook Manager typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Oversee, coordinate and execute the planning, organizing, training and leadership necessary to achieve stated objectives in sales, costs, employee retention, guest service and satisfaction, food quality, cleanliness and sanitation.This also includes cleaning of the store, daily food preparation, supervising employees, ordering food inventory, making pizzas, running the oven, cutting and packaging pizzas and delivery of pizzas when necessary. Must assure all food rotation is being done in such a way to assure the freshest product is provided to our customers .Managers must understand all policies and procedures of Master Pizza.
