Title Examiner reviews titles and researches public records to determine legal status of title. May require a bachelor's degree or its equivalent and 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Being a Title Examiner is familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Job Summary: This is a part time position that could possibly lead to full time. The person in this position would be responsible for logging in incoming orders, answering phones, waiting on customers and some Title Commitment/Policy production.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Responding to and routing phone calls
Processing incoming orders and inquiries via telephone, mail and email
Production of Title Commitments and Title Insurance Policies
Indexing documents for our title plant/Entry and Verification of daily recorded documents for our title plant
Various other duties assigned by management
Qualifications:
Experience:
Word processing experience is preferred.
Previous experience in the title industry would be helpful, but not required.
Education:
High School diploma is required.
