Title Examiner reviews titles and researches public records to determine legal status of title. May require a bachelor's degree or its equivalent and 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Being a Title Examiner is familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Responsibilities would include answering phones, greeting clients, setting up new orders, ordering payoffs, funding and disbursing funds, preparing files for policy, and providing assistance to the Escrow Officers in all functions of the Escrow process.
