Duties:

Primary responsibility of the tool crib coordinator will be responsible for preparing tooling for setup's and continuous production. In addition, this person orders, receives, stores and issues all tools and/or related equipment in support to all manufacturing operations. This position is also responsible for generating and maintaining an accurate inventory of all purchased and manufactured items within the tool room.Must be self-motivated and work well in a team environment. Must be able to work safely, recognize and mitigate any unsafe condition, and select appropriate PPE based on job requirements.

Requirements:

• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Responsible for keeping adequate amount of tooling in bins to support production.
• Responsible for presetting tools to support production on all shifts.
• Inform purchasing coordinator of shortages and issues with products.
• Responsible for proper storage of materials in bins or racks according to size and part number.
• Responsible for proper labeling of Store items, bins, racks and other storage locations.
• Manage the Tool Crib to 5S, wearing of PPE, safety and housekeeping practices.
• Tracks saw blade usage.
• Conducts tooling tests when needed.
• Participate in Continuous Improvement activities.
• Adhere to customer requirements, Quality Operating System (QOS) and company policies.
• Able to perform other duties as required by the Purchasing Manager.
• Strong sense of integrity.
• Takes responsibility for actions and duties.
• Have a working knowledge of equipment/maintenance and the ability to ID parts and understand how they are used Proficient with MS Office and Windows applications.Have reliable transportation. Must have a good working history.
