We are looking to add exceptional entry level talent to our team for the 3rd shift in our manufacturing plant located in Valparaiso, IN! No experience required - we train everyone on site!

Shift:  Sunday - Wednesday, 11:00pm - 7:00am 

Overall Responsibilities:

• Operate all equipment in a safe and productive manner
• Identify defective product and report to Quality department and/or Shift Supervisor
• Document production data at end of every shift and turn into Production Manager
• Pack quality parts per job work instructions with correct label
• Report to Shift Supervisor any issues with or at machine 
• Trim, clean and assemble parts as required by work instructions
• Adhere to all procedures in the Operator Procedures Guide
• Monitor material levels and inform Material Handler of any issues
• Maintain a neat, clean and orderly work area
• Adhere to the Thorgren Tool & Molding quality policy
• Adhere to all instructions from shift and floor supervisors

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Ability to follow instructions and work procedures
• Team player who can also work well independently
• Attention to detail and ability to multi-task
• Willing to perform repetitive tasks for an extended period of time during an 8 hour shift
• Excellent attendance record

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this position, the employee may be required to walk, stand, bend, reach and/or sit for prolonged periods during an 8 hour shift. Employees are required to use their hands to hold and feel objects with the ability to run machines as required and handle various types of tools and equipment. Employees must be able to lift up to 25-30 pounds repetitively throughout their shift. Proper PPE must be worn while performing job duties.
