Tool Design Engineer designs and develops tools and machinery used to facilitate and optimize manufacturing processes. Reviews product design and build requirements to determine tooling concepts, design options, testing plans, and specifications. Being a Tool Design Engineer develops designs for fixtures, jigs, gauges, cutting and forming tools, carts, racks, and other items to support production. Utilizes Computer-Aided Design (CAD) to create accurate, complete, and concise design models and documentation to fabricate tools. Additionally, Tool Design Engineer estimates costs, resource requirements, and materials required for tools. May manage the sourcing, quoting, or procurement of purchased tools. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Tool Design Engineer work is closely managed. We are seeking our next Graphic Design Adjunct Faculty instructor who will be all-in on our mission and who will perform duties primarily related to the instruction of courses in assigned discipline. Teaching responsibilities include time spent in classroom, laboratory, online courses, tech supported classes, and in immediate preparation for respective courses; and preparing teaching materials.
EDUCATION
Required: Associate’s Degree in Graphic Design or related field.
Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or related field.
EXPERIENCE
Required: Three (3) years of experience in graphic or commercial art using Mac computers with working knowledge of In-Design, Photoshop and illustrator.

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to travel between offices and buildings, and requires the ability to lift, carry, push, pull and/or maneuver office supplies as needed.

Work Environment: This position operates in a professional office environment, routinely uses standard office equipment (i.e. computers, phones, copy and fax machines, filing cabinets) and is in a high traffic area with continual interruptions. Software commonly used includes Microsoft Office, Colleague, and various other educational applications. Work may also be performed outside of the office and with little to no supervision.
