Tool Design Engineer

What you would be working on:

·       Design tooling for metal tube forming using computer programs.

·       Evaluate material for tooling.

·       Review tooling specification for suggested improvements.

·       Coordinate with all departments to solve and correct existing and expected manufacturing problems.

·       Train tooling employees.

·       Coordinate with vendors.

·       Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.

What will help you be successful:

·       Knowledge of hardness scales, applications, and conversions.

·       Ability to calculate expansions and contractions of various metals.

·       Knowledge of metal finishes and appropriate applications.

·       Knowledge of Solidworks, Auto CAD and Catia.

·       Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PPT.

·       B.S Engineering, preferably in Mechanical Engineering.

·       2 years of experience in Metals Manufacturing.
