Tool, Die, and Gauge Making Supervisor jobs in Newport News, VA

Innovated Machine & Tool Co., Inc., is now hiring for 1st and 3rd shift CNC Turret Punch Press Setup/Operators. Pay depends on experience. Overtime is available!!

Also hiring CNC Laser Setup Operators, CNC Press Brake Setup Operators, CNC Machine Operators, and CNC Programmers for sheet metal fabrication!

Requirements include:

• Ability to Set up and Operate CNC Punch Press;
• Experience with material loading automation;
• Knowledge of turret punch press tooling, how to select, change & maintain;
• Proficiency checking accuracy of work using blueprint and precision measuring tools such as calipers;
• Ability to work from blueprints, rough sketches, and customer samples;
• Comfortable working in fast paced environment;
• Ability to communicate & work well with engineering.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Loading raw material onto punch press material loader;
• Removing parts from cut sheet metal;
• Locating and moving raw material & parts with pallet jack or forklift;
• Basic preventive maintenance and cleaning of punch press and work areas;
• Working with maintenance and repair technicians to diagnose equipment problems as needed;
• Following all safety rules and maintain a clean working environment.

Our Equipment Includes:

• Amada EM3612ZRT 33-Ton Turret Punch Press with High Capacity Tool Rack and Automatic Tool Changer
• Amada Vipros VPZ3510 PDC Turret Punch Press

Experience in a sheet metal job shop /contract manufacturer is required!

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
