Monitors rig operations and drilling parameters to ensure optimal performance and makes functional adjustments as necessary. Additionally, Toolpusher provides proper guidance and direction to rig crew on specific tasks to be performed. May require an associate degree. Typically reports to a director. The Toolpusher manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions.
