Essential Functions:

• Service existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets.
• Increase customer sales in accordance with objectives.
• Maintain up-to-date awareness of company activities, industry trends and government regulations.
• Report daily activities on a consistent basis to the Area Sales Manager.
• Train new representatives on the company’s sales policies and procedures as needed.
• Communicate with the inside sales department and the transportation department to meet customer delivery requirements.
• Travel between Dothan, AL, Freeport, FL, and DeFuniak Springs, FL

Education & Experience and Competencies:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Associate’s degree in business administration, management, sales, or a related field.
• At least 3 years successful related sales experience with an understanding and knowledge of produce food service-related products
• Proficient PC skills in Microsoft Office and common E-Mail systems

Work Schedule:

• 5-day work week (Rotating Saturdays)
• Day Shift – 8:00am-5:00pm
• 40-48 hours per week

Compensation:

• Base $50,000 Commission (Potential up to $70,000/year)

Physical Demands:

• Stand or sit for long periods of time
• Travel as needed
• Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
• Work in cold and wet environments
