Develops and implements accounting policies and procedures that adhere to governmental financial and tax regulations and comply with GAAP and IFRS standards. Being a Top Accounting Executive operationalizes accounting systems and processes to deliver continuous improvements. Ensures accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close processes and reporting. Additionally, Top Accounting Executive establishes internal auditing processes and coordinates external audits. Uses in-depth knowledge and understanding of accounting principles and best practices to develop accounting professionals. May require a master's degree in accounting or finance.
