Summary:
The Equipping Church is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to fill the position of Admin Executive Assistant to the Senior Pastor. This role requires a proactive self-starter with exceptional administrative skills, proficiency in data entry and bookkeeping, and a passion for supporting the mission and vision of our church.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Senior Pastor, including managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and organizing meetings.
2. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including church membership databases, financial transactions, and correspondence.
3. Assist in financial management tasks, such as processing invoices, tracking expenses, and reconciling accounts.
4. Coordinate communication between the Senior Pastor, church staff, and congregation members, ensuring timely and effective dissemination of information.
5. Prepare and distribute materials for church meetings, events, and services, including agendas, reports, and presentations.
6. Assist in the planning and execution of church events and special projects, including coordinating logistics, managing volunteers, and overseeing budgets.
7. Conduct research and gather information as needed to support the Senior Pastor in decision-making and planning.
8. Uphold confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive information and communications.
9. Proactively identify opportunities to streamline administrative processes and improve efficiency within the church office.
10. Represent the Senior Pastor and the church in a professional and courteous manner in all interactions with internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field preferred.
2. Proven experience in administrative support roles, preferably in a church or nonprofit organization.
3. Proficiency in data entry, bookkeeping, and financial record-keeping.
4. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines.
5. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a keen attention to detail.
6. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant software applications.
7. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while also collaborating effectively within a team environment.
8. Demonstrated commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity in all aspects of work.
