Job Title: Leasing Consultant

Job Overview:

As a Leasing Consultant, you will be the first point of contact for potential residents and play a vital role in attracting, leasing, and retaining residents for our properties. You will be responsible for showcasing our properties, assisting prospective residents in finding their ideal homes, and ensuring a seamless leasing process. This role requires excellent communication skills, a customer-focused attitude, and a strong understanding of the real estate industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to prospective and current residents by addressing inquiries, conducting property tours, and effectively communicating the benefits of living in our community.

Leasing: Actively market available units, maintain accurate and up-to-date listing information, and assist with the leasing process, including application processing, credit checks, and lease signing.

Property Knowledge: Develop in-depth knowledge of the property, including floor plans, amenities, and lease terms, to effectively answer questions and address resident needs.

Prospect Outreach: Conduct outbound prospecting activities, including follow-up calls, emails, and social media outreach, to generate leads and maintain a healthy pipeline of potential residents.

Tenant Relations: Foster positive relationships with current residents, address their concerns and requests promptly, and assist with lease renewals to promote resident retention.

Market Research: Stay informed about local real estate market trends, competitors, and industry best practices to provide recommendations for pricing and marketing strategies.

Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate records of leasing activities, prepare leasing reports, and assist with the preparation of lease agreements and other relevant documentation.

Compliance: Ensure compliance with fair housing laws and company policies throughout the leasing process.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous experience in multifamily property management required.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Proficient in using leasing software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Knowledge of fair housing regulations.
