Sets goals for the auditing team and builds expertise with coaching and developmental initiatives. Requires a bachelor's degree. Requires a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). May require Certified Internal Auditor (CIA). Typically reports to top management. The Top Audit Executive manages a business unit, division, or corporate function with major organizational impact. Establishes overall direction and strategic initiatives for the given major function or line of business.
