Additionally, Top Audit Executive delivers audit reports to leadership and recommends enhanced controls or processes as needed. Sets goals for the auditing team and builds expertise with coaching and developmental initiatives. Requires a bachelor's degree. Requires a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). The Director and Chief Audit Executive will be responsible for analyzing and testing controls and recommending improvements to the operations, risks, functions, processes, systems, procedures, and policies of the association and its departments. This position conducts the annual risk assessment, structures the audit plan, and recommends changes to enhance the performance and compliance of the organization. The Director reports functionally to and provides support to the Audit Committees of AAA, Inc. and the AAA Foundation for Traffic Safety. Additionally, the Director facilitates the AAA, Inc. Enterprise Risk Management effort and investigates violations of AAA, Inc. policies, Code of Conduct, or misuse of assets.
