Job Summary:
The Business Development Executive will proactively identify and cultivate business opportunities within geographically divided territories, focusing on specific and targeted end market OEM & Tier 1 Supply Chain. This results-driven individual will own customer relationships for a specified amount of time, emphasizing continuity and value, before transitioning the relationship to the Key Account Manager.
Location: 100% Remote (must reside in the following states: Indiana, Iowa, Illinois, or Kentucky)
Compensation: The annual salary for this position is 90k. Also, you have the potential to earn more! QLS issues a quarterly commission based upon your hard work!
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Cover specified end markets, selling to both OEMs and Tier One, with emphasis on Rep and QA work.
· Operate in a less transactional, Outside Sales Representative (OSR) role, conducting presentations on current and new services.
· Conduct competitive analysis and document findings with the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
· Collaborate with internal teams, particularly Sales Team members, to ensure alignment and maximize cross-functional efficiency.
· Attend and represent the company at trade shows within the assigned in-market territory.
· Utilize CRM software to track and manage customer interactions, leads, and opportunities.
· Perform cold calling and cold emailing to generate new business leads.
· Accurately qualify leads and potential new customers according to company standards.
· Meet expected quota requirements.
· Facilitate a smooth transfer of relationships to Key Account Managers (KAM) to set them up for success.
· Travel as needed, up to 60%

Required Skills/Abilities:
· Experience in B2B sales in a related industry.
· Cold calling experience.
· Highly motivated, self-starter who can handle workload and take initiative.
· Project management skills to influence people in an organization and the ability to balance multiple priorities and deals simultaneously.
· Ability to travel within the assigned territory up to 60%, by air and car.
· Adaptability to a less transactional, more relationship-focused role.
· Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Education and Experience:
· Bachelor's degree in any related field preferred
· Experience with Construction and Agricultural Manufacturing preferred
· Knowledge and experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) required.
· Prior experience working in a remote setting required.
· 5-9 years of sales experience or in a similar role required.
Physical Requirements:
· Must be physically located in a state within the assigned sales territory.
· Must be located within two hours of an international airport.
· Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
· Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
