Beechwood Sales & Service is hiring a Category Management Analyst for our Category Management group in the Off-Premise Sales Team. 

Essential Job Functions:

• Maintain effective customer relations and promote the goodwill of the Company
• Implement and execute the sales and marketing strategies of Beechwood Sales & Service
• Build positive relationships with retailers as a trusted Category advisor across all areas of the Beer business
• Maintain awareness of industry and responding to new developments
• Develop impactful category analyses and consumer insights using a range of syndicated and non-syndicated data sources, IRI, Neilson etc.
• Organize and execute cooler resets according to Company standards
• Synthesize takeaways from various sources to build clear and impactful selling stories in a visually appealing manner using PowerPoint
• Optimally educate internal teammates and external customers on growth opportunities through clear and impactful communications
• Work closely with Category Management Group on all assignments
• Visit customers in the market to increase working knowledge and build customer rapport
• Act as Subject Matter Expert for space planning and use its software to optimally merchandise beer departments according to Beechwood, Category and Retailer strategies
• Distribute monthly sales reports from internal and external sources ensuring data integrity and ease of use, align brands with suppliers
• Track competitive pricing activity, analyze/construct a strategy to compete, implement and execute
• Create daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly pricing reports and analysis
• Run standard and ad hoc reports for business and suppliers as needed

Essential Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree with a preferred emphasis in business, economics or mathematics
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Moderate to Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to understand information, develop insights and identify opportunities when analyzing large data sets
• Ability to translate findings and recommendations into a concise and effective selling story
• Ability to expertly present insights, opportunities and recommendations to internal or external partners in a persuasive manner
• Strong passion for the Beer industry
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability and willingness to work independently and as part of a team
• Superior organization skills with ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines
