Description:
The purpose of the Multimedia Coordinator is to provide support and services related to all multimedia and internet activities across all departments and agencies that Trumbull County’s Information Technology supports.
Responsibilities
Support and Communication:
Ability to work effectively as a team member with all departments and outside agencies throughout the County as required.
As required, act as a "Meeting Technical Host" for any meetings that could occur across all County Agencies.
Duties would require;
- Coordinating the technical requirements with the meeting host of facilitator
- Keeping calm under pressure to assist in the resolution of any technical issues or questions
- Communicate clear instructions to the meeting participants
Demonstrated customer service skills with a willingness to assist all Trumbull County agencies and general public with communication and accessing the County's Social Media presence.
Working as part of a team of Information Technology personnel, assist with the organizing office operations and procedures by creating consistent documentation appropriate for all key stakeholders both in the department and all county entities.
Working knowledge of:
Advanced knowledge of meeting and collaboration tools including (but not limited to) Zoom, Webex, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft SharePoint.
Advanced knowledge of all social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.) and how they can contribute to communication between all County agencies and the general public
Intermediate knowledge of conference room setups and communication systems including cameras, microphones, speakers, and video presentation technology.
Understanding of web development tools and content management. Basic knowledge of .NET, C#, SQL, PHP, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and Visual Studio.
Basic computer and networking knowledge including;
- Operating systems including Microsoft Windows (Windows 7-11) Apple iOS and Android OS.
- Networking tools and concepts including terminology, operation, and function
- Software including, but not limited to; Microsoft Office 2016 and O365, SharePoint, Adobe and any other required business operation software and tools.
Provide prompt response and troubleshooting support for any technical issues throughout the County. Ability to prioritize issues as they occur with a sharp attention to detail.
Take on other assigned duties to contribute to the team effort by enhancing the quality of IT products and services.

Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in an effective and efficient manner.
This position is considered essential and plays a crucial role in the functioning of Trumbull County. The individual in this role will be responsible for county software, and will be required to work during emergency situations.|
This position offers limited flexibility in scheduling, with the possible opportunity to work a non-traditional schedule. The individual in this role will be responsible for working in an IT Help Desk envirpment which will require full time, on-site support. Remote work is not an option for this position.
This position may require a hybrid schedule where the employee may have to work from home or from any location outside of the office when needed. On-call support is required.
This position may require the completion of additional duties as assigned by management within reason and agreement. Cross-training in other areas may also be necessary to meet the needs of the business.
Ability to: stay abreast of current technologies in area of IT assigned, have working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, Microsoft Office products, maintain quoting process, and proficiency deploying new and/or old computer systems to the point where it is ready for productive work in a live environment.
Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds on a daily basis.
Minimum Class Qualifiations For Employment
- Completion of undergraduate core program in Computer Science or Information Technology plus 3 to 6 months of combined work experience in Information Technology with a primary focus on the specifications provided by the agency's position description & job posting. An advanced level degree can be substituted in lieu of experience.
- Or completion of Associate Core Program in Computer Science or Information Technology plus 12 months of combined work experience in Information Technology with a primary focus on the specifications provided by the agency's position description & job posting.
- Or 24 months of combined work experience in Information Technology with a primary focus on the specifications provided by the agency's position description & job posting.
