POSITION: Executive Housekeeper – Chautauqua/Ellicottville

Reports to: Director of Property Management Services

JOB SUMMARY: We are currently seeking an Executive Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping team across both the Chautauqua and Ellicottville regions of our vacation rental company. In this role, you will be responsible for managing various aspects of housekeeping operations, including laundry management, inventory control, ordering of supplies, and ensuring effective communication with property owners regarding cleaning at their property. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in addressing and resolving guest and owner issues, overseeing scheduling and budgeting, facilitating orders, and managing billing processes for our cleaning services. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Eager to learn, educate, and uphold the ERA Team VP core values.
• Lead and supervise the housekeeping team, providing strong leadership to ensure properties are cleaned promptly and maintain the highest standards of cleanliness in line with ERA Team VP.
• Train and onboard new team members to ensure proficiency in daily tasks.
• Perform routine cleaning duties, such as deep cleaning, linen handling, and trash removal, adhering to ERA Team VP cleaning standards.
• Develop and distribute daily assignments and checklists, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines without compromising quality.
• Monitor inventory levels, communicate and order needed supplies to ensure proper inventory levels.
• Conduct property walk-throughs and inspections to uphold quality standards.
• Promptly document and report maintenance issues and property damage.
• Lead by example, demonstrating professionalism and diligence both in the office and on-site.
• Document and address housekeeper performance concerns, ensuring adherence to cleanliness and timeliness standards.
• Respond promptly to owner and tenant requests, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Familiarize yourself with the reservation system (Barefoot), manage weekly arrivals, and support rental management tasks (Vacation Specialist duties).
• Contribute to yearly/monthly budgeting and expense control efforts.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the housekeeping department, rental team, and ERA Team VP company as a whole.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of supervisory or management experience is required.
• 3-5 years’ housekeeping experience preferred.
• Demonstrated commitment to surpassing customer service expectations.
• An outgoing personality and a strong dedication to delivering exceptional customer service.
• Flexibility in schedule, including Weekend availability, holidays and be a part of on-call rotation.
• Valid Driver’s License and access to reliable transportation.
• Budgeting/Managing Expenses Experience.
• Previous HR experience, including familiarity with hiring, termination, and disciplinary processes.
• Professional demeanor with excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency in computer usage and familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and internet functions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
