    Description

    Mpls.St.Paul Magazine has opened a position for a dynamic and creative sales professional. Our business is growing. We need an individual who wants to take advantage of this growth opportunity. As Media Account Executive, you will be responsible for developing relationships and success stories for our current and future clients.

     

    Your Role:

    As a change maker for your book of business, you'll have the opportunity to:

    • Uncover new sales leads and demonstrate the unparalleled value of our diverse suite of advertising products and platforms, ranging from digital media and branded content to event sponsorships and print advertising.
    • Use your dynamic personality to network, develop relationships with potential clients and create long lasting revenue streams.
    • Develop business solutions that meet client marketing needs and develop compelling presentations that consistently earn, retain, and increase revenue.
    • Take charge of the FULL sales cycle - from researching and prospecting to cold-calling, presenting, and closing deals. You'll be backed by our Digital Strategy and Client Success teams to ensure continued support post-sale.
    • Collaborate across departments, becoming the customer advocate within Mpls.St.Paul Magazine, working seamlessly with Editorial, Production, and Creative Services to exceed customer expectations.

    Qualifications


    Job Qualifications:

    • High-energy level - we're looking for someone who brings passion and enthusiasm to the table.
    • 2 years of successful sales experience. Ideally, experience in a media environment or agency where you met and exceeded revenue goals.
    • Experience in digital media is highly preferred
    • Exceptional verbal and writing skills.
    • Proficiency in managing your business using a CRM.
    • Solid presentation skills - we want someone who can captivate an audience.
    • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
