Job Description
Seeking 1 Bilingual Fulltime Advocate and 1 part time Advocate.
The Lena Park Community Engagement Advocate will be responsible for overall performance in developing relationships with families from the Lena Park community, connecting residents to social service providers, and to support resident community engagement. The Community Engagement Advocate will work closely with the WINN property management team to positively impact tenant stability, ensure quality opportunities for residents to enhance their income and assets; and also provide opportunities in leadership development for community residents. Additionally, the Community Engagement Advocates will participate/ facilitate in Lena Park Community Programming and Events
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Work closely with the property management company to ensure residence stability.
· Assess families and work with families to identify resources needed.
· Screen and enroll residents in benefits as needed.
· Represent Lena Park at community meetings.
· Collect all required community engagement data and input in databases.
· Assist in writing reports.
· Foster residents' leadership skills
· Represent Lena Park with other organizations and stakeholders.
· Other duties as requested and assigned by the BOD
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Bachelor's degree in a related field; or two to three years of resident resource coordination, community organizing, community planning and or community relations experience.
· Bilingual is preferred (English/)
· A driver's license and access to a vehicle or access to reliable transportation
· Able to build and cultivate relationships.
· Able to work independently as well as with a team.

SALARY RANGE/SCHEDULE
· $45,000 - $55,000 (Based on qualification/ Experience)
· 40 hours per week. Schedule will require evening and weekend hours.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE\KNOWLEDGE:
· Community Organizing
· Knowledge of population served, and issues related to the community.
· Ability to work with diverse populations.
· Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
· Identify community resources and build collaborative relationships with community agencies.
· Plan and participate in community events.
· Be creative, innovative and self-motivated.
· Organized, able to set priorities, problem solve and make recommendations when needed
· Proficiencies in computer usage and instruction of:
· Microsoft Office Platform, Word, Database, 365 platform, Excel,
· Email and Internet
· Bilingual in Spanish for the full time role required.
