Top Community Development Executive leads and plans all aspects of an organization's economic development lending activities to support or subsidize improvements in the community. Develops and maintains relationships with groups, agencies, and organizations in the community to identify business development opportunities. Being a Top Community Development Executive establishes the policies guiding the community development strategy and ensures the organization's compliance with the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) and other regulations. Contributes to marketing efforts to foster company visibility and awareness of projects or initiatives. Additionally, Top Community Development Executive monitors ongoing initiatives to evaluate progress and efforts. Researches and evaluates current and future community needs to identify lending and other business development opportunities. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Top Community Development Executive manages a departmental function within a broader corporate function. Develops major goals to support broad functional objectives. Approves policies developed within various sub-functions and departments. To be a Top Community Development Executive typically requires 8+ years of managerial experience. Family Advocate
Hourly Pay Rate: $12.83 (credential in progress); $13.83 (credential); $14.83 (AA); $16.83 (BA)
Benefits:
This position supports and assists families as they identify and meet their own goals through a family-centered case management model for developing and carrying out the program Family Partnership Agreements and ERSEA including responsibility for child files, enrollment/applications, etc. This position coordinates with other specialists in the content areas of education, health (medical, dental, nutrition, mental health), services to children with disabilities, parent, family and community engagement, ERSEA, data management in accordance with Head Start Program Performance Standards to provide quality services to children and families and to support the goals of the program. The position may involve reassignment of caseloads and/or center location as deemed necessary for program operations.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
Minimum requirement is, within eighteen months of hire, a credential or certification in social work, human services, family services, counseling, or a related field. Requirements for employment with CDI Head Start may be different than those required by the former grantee or a replacement grantee. If applicable federal, state, or local Head Start or childcare regulations, now or as amended in the future, contain additional requirements or qualifications for this position which are not specifically stated in this Job Description, the requirements and qualifications will apply, even if not specifically set forth in this Job Description.
Schedule: Full-Time, M-F 8am-5pm, 40 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
