Position Summary: The Senior Program Manager, Economic Development works to conceive, identify, and secure funding for, and implement strategies to improve the economic self‐sufficiency of City Heights residents. They are responsible for day‐to‐day planning and operational management of activities and functions in the Economic Development program area, including: conceptualizing, developing, implementing and evaluating program delivery, procedures and standards; creating and monitoring program budgets; assisting his/her supervisor in determining program service levels and enhancements; interpreting and complying with all applicable regulations; identifying and developing funding opportunities; providing relevant advice and supervision to clerical, technical or professional staff, the public and other agencies. This position is responsible for direct supervision of the Economic Development team and budget. They report to and work closely with the Director of Economic Development & Business Improvement Operations.
